For millions of years, the gut bacteria have evolved into a kind of good and bad bacteria for humans. The benefits of good bacteria in intestines have anti-inflammatory properties, and other types can cause inflammation. The human body normally contains about 10 trillion bacterial cells, while human cells is only about 1 trillion.
The scientists isolated bacteria called Lactobacillus johnsonii 456. Including the most abundant bacteria of the type of good bacteria, and has some pretty useful benefits beyond drugs. Lactobacillus strains were able to create a product to be very good as in yogurt, kefir and kombucha. Bacteria reduce damage genes and significantly reduce inflammation. Inflammation is the key factor in many diseases including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular disease, arthritis, lupus, and also plays a role in the aging process.
